I LOVE THIS PLACE! I just found it while driving down westheimer. I got walnut shrimp the best. Friendly staff. Place is clean Definitely will recommend.

I was misled by the other reviews. This place really isn’t that good. The pork eggrolls were dry and had a funky taste. The wonton soup was OK but there were no green onions in it and when I say OK I mean that at the highest point it could be. The ribs must’ve been swimming in the container of sauce. They would’ve been much better if the sauce had been cooked into the meat instead of slathered on with a paintbrush. The best I can give this is it a 2. Yuck! I had about five bites of this meal that cost me over $10 and I had to throw it away

Pineapple chicken and orange chicken were pretty good but WHAT THE FRIED RICE IS THIS? I’ve never seen any “Chinese” restaurant just pour some soy sauce on white rice, warm it up a little and call it fried rice. Even Panda Express puts veggies and egg in their very basic fried rice. I think I’ll steer clear of Chow Wok.

It was my first time ordering from them, I ordered house specials fried rice and beef with egg plant, they were both very delicious, and the price is good. I would order again.

Very good priced lunch special, lunch special comes with fried egg rolls, soup, fried rice or steamed rice.
Best thing is the food came out HOT! great for a cold raining day.
Your americanized chinese food dishes, a bit saucy on the stir fried entree, but very tasty.

This entirety place is a neighborhood gem! Amicable staff. Great customer service! Very friendly and welcoming.
Their menu is extensive. Fantastic food, reasonable prices.

I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants and the most glamorous and expensive ones are the ones that have garbage food but sanitation and hospitality is up to par while alot small Chinese restaurants thawing very cheap prices but their sanitation standard are garbage but believe me when I say this because I mean this… This restaurant is the bomb ????!! They are a combination of both but on the positive side.. Although they are a small restaurant they are very, very clean, sanitized and extremely hospitable. They have some of the best prices I’ve ever seen and some great tasting food I’ve ever taste In addition, to really nice portions. Where else can you go and get great tasting Chinese food lunch specials for $6.22 that consiste of a Entree, rice, a cup of soup, egg roll, a drink and desert.. Where they do that at!!!?

Went for the first time here today and I must say I'm glad we did! We had quite a few things: generals chicken dinner, pork dumplings, cheese puffs...everything was Excellent! Staff was friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely be coming back ????????

Great price for the portions given. I really enjoyed the rice box for the rice and not having everything together as other places do. Food was great!
Update: went on another occasion and received different proportions compared to my initial review. A bit sad but the food was still great. Not sure why proportions was changed. Both times I went for dinner.
