Service and food was Excellent! Had the Spaghetti carbonara, and although I was a bit iffy because it came with an egg yolk, I was impressed it didn’t have that yolk taste; it was creamy and tasty. The cocktails were also perfect, I tried a smoky drink “The Grant” (not usually a fan of them) but that one surprised me! It was just the perfect smokiness, very smooth. Our server was super attentive and made sure everything tasted good and kept checking up to see if we needed anything. This place exceeded my expectations

Great patio to sit at and watch the cars and people go by. Valet parking available in front of the restaurant. Corbonara was as good as they say. Shishito peppers were cooked to perfection. Great complimentary bread and butter. Drinks were good and reasonably priced. Mushroom arancni was great as well. Server was great and checked on us often . Will be back to try more items off the menu.

This review is for a birthday dinner I did with my daughter on a Saturday in August. I came to visit her in Houston and she wanted Italian for her 10th birthday… this restaurant exceeded my expectations and previous dining experiences I have had there. We were a walk in and got seated swiftly at 6pm. Service was excellent, the recommendations were on point, and the food was great. They brought her a giant cotton candy with a sparkler, which just happens to be her favorite sweet treat. Wow do they know how to do a kids birthday! I know we’ll be coming back for future daddy daughter date nights and birthdays! Thanks Coppa Osteria!

Do yourself a favor and go and have a great meal. Every item that we have on the menu has been delicious. We have been there at least 15 times in the past few years and enjoyed every bite. The meals are a little on the expensive but you definently get your money's worth

Can’t think of a single reason not to give 5 stars. We came here to celebrate our daughter’s 23rd birthday and from the moment we valeted our car to the moment we walked out of the restaurant, we felt welcomed and spoiled. The food and drinks were great and the service was perfect. Had several members of the management team check up on us throughout the meal. This was our first time, but it won’t be our last. Delicioso! Perfecto!

The place, atmosphere and service were great the food on the other hand was very disappointing. The steak was so chewy I couldn’t eat it, the crunchy potatoes were okay nothing out of the ordinary. The pasta was very much overcooked. I would expect it from any American place but if they say they are an Italian restaurant and they serve overcooked pasta that’s a big disappointment. Cocktails were nothing special either.

I love coming here whenever I get a chance. The food is always amazing and the service is so good. We’ve had a little of everything on the menu and you really can’t go wrong. We usually order multiple plates and share everything family style, it’s the best.
I will also note, eating by candlelight just makes everything that much better.

Another dinner at Coppa, another amazing experience! At this point, I’m not sure if it’s better to sit at the bar or sit in the main dining room area, because the team at the bar has consistently taken such great care of us! I’m not sure if we just didn’t remember correctly, but this felt like the first time we received bread service of any kind - it was welcomed, but still a surprise. The side of Crispy Potatoes was delicious, though I do wish we had a little more of the garlic aioli (very tasty). The Italian Sausage pizza was fantastic, with or without the actual sausage. The pizza had a good amount of heat, while maintaining its flavor without burning the tongue. The crust was good, but I can see why some might want it to be a little crispier to avoid the pizza being too soft overall. The Spaghetti Carbonara was very creamy and a solid carbonara overall. It was also a nice dish to share along with the pizza. The entire meal was capped off beautifully with an order of the Tortino dessert, which had a great mix of textures and a delicious and decadent flavor profile. Easily one of my favorite places in town for nice date night out or even a relaxing meal with a small group.

I usually don’t rate hard for restaurants but I am a bit disappointed.
First, half of the waiters/workers/cooks weren’t wearing their masks despite the spike of COVID-19 happening again. The waiter was talking over our food and I kinda felt disturbed
Second, They mistook my order and I had to wait while everyone else was finishing their food. The waiter did not even apologize and did not check up on how our food was. Did not thank us for tipping at the end
Third, I got the Linguine alla Scampi and the one I got after waiting for 10 minutes tasted different from the Same Linguine alla Scampi that my friend ordered next to me. It looked different. It was more salty and sour( bc of lemon pieces inside)
Fourth, I found black fiber(?) or hair in my menu after finishing and I was wearing a white shirt so it was obviously not me.
However, my other friends’ menus were good. We were impressed with the pasta quality. It was definitely handmade pasta and cooked al dente which I do really prefer for pastas. I did like the pastas here a lot but sadly I did not like the service. I really wish this place had the food and the service as best but it wasn’t and that means a lot to me as this place is priced on the higher side and it is mid-fine dining place. I have been to many mid to high tier restaurants in Houston but service was definitely not good enough for me to not want to come next time????
Maybe I will find a different handmade pasta place in Houston. Unless you guys really change it up or something
