First of all the sign got our attention so we stopped to try out this new Italian place we had just discovered. The Italian food was excellent , very big portions . The staff was very friendly. Love it because it's family owned.

i ate a lot at this fine establishment because it was really, really good!! and in the process i consumed tens of thousands of carbohydrates. I probably gained 100lbs... anyway.. I had the traditional stuff.. chicken Parmigiana, the chicken marsala and Lasagna. The sauce is key, if it doesn't blend well with the pasta then it sucks. Fortunately, it was excellent and tasty because if I'm gonna pay $20 plus per dish it better be good... anyway we were highly satisfied. The salad, calamari and leek soup were pretty good too. So my overall review is excellent. I have yet to eat the other dishes once i do I'll give you another report, in the meantime eat as much as you can until you can't eat no more.. get big baby!! Explode baby!!

Finally visited George's Pastaria after living in the neighborhood for a few years now and driving by it weekly. I can see why it's a local favorite. The food was fresh and delicious but service is why I give it 5 stars. I was with my 3 littles, and they anticipated all my needs to make what typically is a chaotic restaurant experience with 3 kids a really enjoyable dining experience. I ordered the clam linguine with spicy marina and it had a nice but not overwhelming basil flavor with the right amount of heat. I definitely recommend and will return.

If you want authentic Italian cuisine, this is the place! Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and professional. Great dining experience!

Been looking for a decent pasta place in Houston since my arrival to this City 7 years ago. I haven’t been looking desperately but I’m 7 years been in around 10 places and none of them were up to my expectations.
George Pastaria finally ended that bad record this year. Found the place. Coincidence and now I just love it.
Food has soul in here, you can tell is made by detailed oriented people or cookers that have strict and straightforward directions so food comes out as authentic as possible and with good flavor.
Pasta is serve mostly al dente, sauce has a very good intense taste, they have a nice wine selection and service is very professional and polite.
Place gets busy specially at nights and I understand why. Very good option when having good Italian food cravings it won’t disappoint.

Best Italian food in Houston! The sauce on the spaghetti is outstanding. I have had many other dishes and all have been over the top good. The wait staff is friendly and very attentive.

If you’re looking for a delicious fettuccini alfredo, spaghetti, calamari and garlic bread. This is the place to be! Service is great and the ambiance was really nice too. It looks like everyone kinda knows each other. So it’s a really nice homey small business restaurant. I’ll be back for sure.

My family and I enjoyed a lovely meal here last night! I was very surprised at how busy they were for a Tuesday! Seems like a place where a lot of locals go with a “regular” scene! There were many greeted by first name, so I thought that was quite nice!
The food was so good! My husband loved his Penne with prosciutto! I had the lasagna which was great at well! Tons of sauce. The salad had generous creamy Caesar dressing! We had about 3 baskets of bread which was so light and delicious!
Great place for families for sure!

I went today for lunch with my husband and daughter and it was all great. I ordered the baked Alfredo it was perfect and my daughter ordered the chicken Parmesan and she was fascinated, the chicken was soft and flavored. The portions are really big. Service really good too. I highly recommend this place.
