We celebrated a dear friends birthday at Ginger & Fork and we had an amazing time. The food was very fresh and delicious. The drinks were crisp and yummy. Tammy went out of her way to ensure we had the best experience.
I highly recommend this restaurant you can’t go wrong!

Great authentic restaurant with very friendly and attentive staff! Mary was very kind! Loved the Soup Dumplings and Wonton soup!

We wanted to try this place because of the great reviews given by word of mouth. The staff and owner are top notch! They were all so friendly and sought to serve us well. Sadly, we were really disappointed with how expensive the food was and how small the portions were. For example, we ordered the pineapple chicken. It was $24 dollars and only came with 12 chick-fil-a sized nuggets. In Houston, we can find many more Asian restaurants with better tasting food and bigger portions for a fraction of the cost of Ginger and Fork. We will most likely not be back due to those reasons. It seems like a lot of people like it though! There were plenty of people coming in while we were there.

The quality, taste, and presentation was great. Our waiter was great too
The issue... I requested extra veggies for my dish and I had a difficult time locating them on my plate. No big deal until the bill. The upcharge was $7.00 on a $17.00 plate, 41% mark up. The manager came to my table and I explained the issue. The manager was condescending and rude. I said her response was poorly delivered. She removed the charge and handed me the receipt with an attitude like she did not want to see me again.
Too bad for Ginger & Fork because I live less than one minute walk and I eat out 3-5 nights per week.

In Houston for an event. Wanted to try because of the reviews. The food was good. Atmosphere was great, our waiter was friendly and the owner came over to say hello to us. It was a nice experience

I had lunch there this afternoon and our waiter, Marcus was absolutely wonderful. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I ordered the organic tofu and was wonderful. The owner, Mary, greeted us upon arrival and when we left. I will definitely be back!!

pretty good Chinese for the Heights area. higher quality but on the pricey side for the quantity of food. more affordable lunch portions. ask for the chili oil. it’s really good. it has fewer chili flakes but has black bean paste. the owner is very friendly to the customers. the service was top notch and the food came out quickly. small parking lot but we went during lunch and it’s wasn’t busy.

If I could sum it up in one word.. WOW! The atmosphere was lovely, both owners came over to greet me and told me the story of their restaurant, they walked me through the menu and made excellent recommendations. It was just a stellar experience all around. The food was fresh and so delicious. The soup dumplings are an absolute MUST! I will definitely be back. Amazing!

Awe man! It was great! From a well stocked bar to some wonderful food! The staff was great. And Mary is a wealth of knowledge on Japanese whiskey! Love this place! Can't wait to go back!!!!
