We went to the Hopdoddy in river oaks and had a great experience. The service was quick and it was a nice location. The parmesan fries are one of our favorites and the burgers are always a hit. Hopdoddy is always a great option especially given that they are in a lot more cities now.
Note- there is a free parking garage in the area.

You can order and eat at bar.
Order before you sit anywhere else than the bar.
Burgers are amazing! Fries are always on a point and love their burger salad!
What great options to choose from.
They have kids meal and milkshakes as well.
If you are craving a hamburger this is the location to try.
No cash!
Staff is so positive and nice!

Great grub. Cool spot. Fresh, quality ingredients and a staff that seriously aims to please.
My advice don't go there on a weekend when is crowded to enjoy better and faster service.

Hopdoddy is great. I haven’t been in a while and I’d forgotten how good it is! My two favorite things are the milkshakes and the burger buns (which they sell by the half dozen). The burgers are perfect, I love the magic shrimp but got the classic on this trip. The sweet potato fries are crispy and I love that you a choice of different sauces. Now getting back to that milkshake….. trust me, get it. We are all always in a diet, it’s worth the calories. It’s think and rich. If you’re feeling a little crazy, there are adult milkshakes as well.

Hopdoddy Burger Bar is cool. It will satisfy your burger craving for sure :) Please be mindful I'm reviewing this from only trying one burger on the menu

El Diablo- pepper jack, roasted habaneros & serranos, caramelized onions, salsa roja, lettuce, tomato & chipotle aioli sauce. No Tabasco sauce needed that's for sure. If spicy is your thing, this is your burger.
Strawberry Margarita Rocks - Altos Plata Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liqueur, strawberry, fresh lime juice & agave shaken over ice! Was a bit too sweet for me but with the ice melting and squeezed lime, it ended up tasting perfect.
“Hops are a flower used to make beer tasty & Doddy is a nickname for Black Angus cattle.”
But the best part is…????????
If your order their “Goodnight Good Cause burger”, a portion of the proceeds goes back to charitable organizations :)

Place is in river oaks so great location. Paid about $35 for two burgers, a large bowl of sharable fries and a beer. Their burgers are good but small in my opinion. Worth a try tho

We had a great experience at Hopdoddy today. Peyton was our server / host and she was so kind and had a great sense of humor. Now onto the food! We found out all the fry options were gluten free so we ordered the nacho fries and the hot honey and sage sweet potato fries. For our burgers we ordered the classic and added bacon and an extra patty. The portions of fries were huge! Three of us shared and couldn’t even come close to finishing them. The nacho fries were my personal favorite, good flavor and toppings. The burger itself was phenomenal!! It was hot, juicy and the gf bun was pretty good. The only thing that wasn’t t that great was the strawberry margarita it was way to sweet and syrupy. Overall I would highly recommend this burger place to anyone especially if you have to follow a gluten free diet / Celiac.
