Tasteless. Large portion of cafeteria food straight from the cans. I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, spinach and Mac and cheese The steak was too tough to chew, let alone swallow. I asked for white gravy, I received cream of chicken soup. Nothing was seasoned. Luby's ,or hospital food would have been better. I donated $42, Did not even drink the tea!

Service with huge portions is the norm.
The wait staff was always attentive to provide refills and address any requests even if you were not their assigned group.
Old fashion mindset of service is a good thing.
The portions were huge as you will go hungry.
The selection of options will allow you to match your craving with the perfect option.
The decor is not fancy as it was modest.
If you want country comfort food at a very good price then this a good option.

Best breakfast in Houston , please come to this place hungry because you will not be able to eat all the food. You will not want to eat the remainder of the day. The staff are great. I will return again and again

The best place to come & bring the family when you don't want to cook but looking for a great meal that the whole family can enjoy & won't break your pockets!
Their breakfast items are good, they make it any way you like with texas sized biscuits & yummy pancakes! Their chicken is also good, you can't go wrong with that.

Definitely the best place to go and have breakfast. If you think everything is big in Texas they do honor that here lol. 1 plate is for 2 people, if you are a type of customer that don't eat to much you can definitely save money by ordering 1 plate for 2. Waiters are nice and they are checking if you need something else at all times. We had ordered baked potato size is good you just might have to order extra side of sour cream or cheese. The chicken fried chicken is amazing when it comes with white gravy. The pancakes ???? are really big if you are ordering for a kid probably 1 will be enough. Congratulations guys keep up with the same job you had been doing

This is their seafood Combo. Stuffed crab, catfish and shrimp. I added spinach and onion rings. Crab is horrific, shrimp are super dry and rubbery, spinach taste like the cook dumped the box of salt in it. Not a good meal at all!!!

A fantastic place to eat, food taste wonderful, you get totally generous portions for a little amount of money. I had the country fried pork chops and my guest had grilled pork chops. While you wait they bring you biscuits and cornbread that were very tasty. The wait staff was absolutely wonderful so many different waitresses walked over the offer to help. I had plenty of leftovers took them home and warm them up the next day and they tasted fantastic as leftovers. I love pancakes do I ordered a short stack for dessert and they are big, thick and fluffy and come our hot. I look forward to going again. The only downside is apparently all their seven locations are all south of Houston I live north of Houston.

Terrific comfort food! I hadn't had corn beef hash like in 35 years in a restuarant. All my grandkids enjoyed their terrific meals!! Will definitely go back when we're back in Houston????

Kelley's was a great experience. Incredible menu of choices. Several daily specials each day. I had the Combo Texas Baked Potato with a green salad. Salad was fresh. The Texas Baked Potato was the biggest Potato i had ever seen or tried to eat. Potato was hot and delicious with plenty to take home and enjoy! I highly recommend this Houston eating establishment with its friendly service.
