A little crowded but dj was awesome with great interaction with the crowd for marketing purposes. Cool spot but I wouldn't stay until 2am because it gets stupid packed where you can't breath

I have been coming here for over a year and used to enjoy coming until a racial incident happened last night. Two bouncers came up to my friend and told her "you gotta go." They kicked her out, without explanation, BY HERSELF. It seemed like they were watching her whole night and deemed her to be "too intoxicated." This is a guess because when we asked them why they kicked her out they said "we already told you" rather than providing answers. The manager was rude and not willing to listen which is unacceptable because we spent a significant amount of money that night. We did not even get to finish our drinks and that manager should be fired.
I am so disappointed. Listen to the other reviews, especially on Yelp. They are a racist establishment and serve alcohol to minors. One kid even got by with the ID that is attached in the photo. Guess they are not up to date on movies…

3 stars ONLY because I didn't get to try a drink nor did I interact with the wait staff. As soon as I hit the corner to go to the RR the air felt thick. Almost instantly people were dripping sweat. After I saw the condition of the RR I didn't even use it. The patio area was cooler and it was 98° TX heat. I feel sorry for the staff behind the inside bar.

Went twice, back to back.
First night was pretty pumped and cool, drinks came in flowing. Everybody seemed pretty cool and friendly. My cousin did stumble upon security in the entrance and she complimented her shoes or some but the security was rude. (7/3/2022)
Second night I maybe just wasn’t feeling it as the day before, but it all seemed a little dragging to me. But it probably was just me cause it seemed pretty chill that day too. (7/4/2022)
We did show up an hour or two before they closed so we didn’t get to enjoy it to the max, but I feel like I would have been so pumped up if I arrived way earlier. Both days were packed but for me a packed club means it’s maybe the hangout spot. Idk ????????♀️

I've never seen this place empty, it's always packed! They have good food and the Djs are always getting the crowd hyped. One downfall are the restrooms are small, I hope you don't mind waiting in a long line. Standard is cool

Security is a bit too much. They are a bit agressive and unprofessional, they get intimidated fast and seem to escalate everything quickly! That might make the climate very unfriendly and not welcoming. First time to see a bar has army-like security vs bouncers! Drinks are a bit pricey!

It was lame and hot af. If you wanna pay $20 per person.
The security guards put on a police vibe as in they will get aggressive with you for no reason. They keep tapping on people to move out the way when there’s definitely space next to us for him to walk on. All to say hi to his buddy that is straight ahead.
Drinks are over priced 2 Hawaiians are 35 dollars and two shots of watered down ciroc go for 28$

I just stop there for my Birthday and trying to have a good time with my wife, the place it's nice and pack, just a little uncomfortable and small for a lot of ppl in there the restroom is pack you have to be ready for spending long way to use the restroom all this is after 11pm when this place turn from normal bar to a small club, over price on the bottle and vip areas it's not worth it $375 dlls a bottle plus juices you'll be ending paying $450 for just a bottle if you want to sit at the couches outside it will be $100 dlls more. 1 week before I was trying to make a reservation call the number at the website and didn't work plus make a reservation online and they never give me a confirmation of my reservation.
Honestly I don't know nothing about food or services, after 11pm that's when its getting crazy and over pricing.

Came to standard for my birthday and was extremely blown away by the staff! Really made me and my guests feel special. Our waitress was extremely attentive and drinks were very good. Was also really impressed with how respectful door and security were. If you’re looking for a place with great music, vibe, and food look no further than Standard!!!

Came out to celebrate my birthday recently and I had the most amazing time! The vibe in this place is different. Cocktail waitresses and bartenders are all super sweet, and the staff overall was very attentive. Since then, this has to be my favorite bar to go to on Washington for any occasion. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to have a great time ????
