Food is always fresh and delicious, very friendly family oriented atmosphere! I have been going here for over twenty years and Gina, her mom and uncles have always treated me nd my family like family! I highly recommend this restaurant for some good old homemade food!
The Menudo is the best, and the breakfast tacos are always on point! Everything on the menu is cooked with love!

I stopped by this morning for the first time and ordered Chilaquiles. Let me tell you! That was some the best chilaquiles I've ever had! Next time, I'll order an extra egg. The little lady that took my order warned me that they were hot...she wasn't lying. But I enjoyed it! The restaurant itself had a very welcoming and comforting atmosphere. I would love to sit there one morning and have my breakfast. It felt like home. I'll definitely be returning to Tejas Taco.

Everyone is really nice & tacos are the best in Houston. The green hot sauce is a great combo with whatever taco you choose.

Ordered the chicken fajitas they were unseasoned and so dry even doused in sauce.The rice tasted old the only good thing was the tortilla and beans.

I’ve ate breakfast here several times. They have great food and a home style feel. It’s like eating at a family reunion everybody seems to know one another.

I only tried the chorizo bean and cheese and bacon breakfast tacos and they're awesome. I've been going back for more.

I'd been wanting to try this place and man it did not disappoint. The breakfast tacos are like the ones grandma used to make: homemade flour tortillas packed with love. The menudo was so good. Do yourself a favor and stop on by.

Tejas Taco House is a hidden gem. They have some of the best breakfast tacos anywhere, and they are a great value. Even some of the more “boring” tacos, like bean and cheese, are really good. It helps that Tejas has two amazing, fresh salsas that are both equally good depending on what you want: green salsa is pretty spicy hot, red salsa is mild, but has some great flavor. An amazing place that I’m glad I have now found.
