Me and my family tried Triple Js Smokehouse Bbq bc of high reviews. We stood in an hour long line that comes along with fantastic bbq. The line does move fast tho. All I can say is WOW!! Ribs are fall off the bone, brisket smoke taste goes on for days. ( they do have a sign saying to please check your order bf leaving, I didn’t, that being said they forgot bbq sauce turns out didnt need it anyway, not mad at them) OMG Best ribs I’ve ever had! I’ve been to Killens, been to Truth and many others. Just WOW! Even the sides are so good. Peach cobbler homemade and so good. Sides are delicious. Potato salad is southern and on point Limited dining space. Who cares. Take it home it’s perfect. Prices are on point with good bbq that requires standing in line for. Dang!!!!! Will be taking everyone I know!

So good!! One of the best, hands down. First timers, we waited in line for an hour and it was worth it. We ordered a J's special dinner plate and J's baked potato. Both had three meats (beef, sausage and ribs). They also gave me a peach cobbler! Sides were delicious, potato salad and dirty rice. I don't know how the line is normally but I'd stand in line again.
Edited to add more pics: Big J potato and 1/2 chicken dinner

Triple J's has great food, and memorabilia to look at while your in line. They need a better set up for ordering. A drive up window would be great.
The prices online need to be updated, they were about $2.00 higher each item inside on the board.
The line was long, but fast. I've always come here for my bbq in Houston

Stopped in kinda by accident, but what a treat!
Got the “Triple J”- brisket, sausage, 2 ribs.
All incredible! Brisket was nice and juicy, excellent flavor. Ribs were very tasty. And the sausage was the best.
Friendly and efficient staff, top notch all around and highly suggested.

So this one is a little unique on the list of places I have been. I didn't actually get to eat here!
The restaurant is a little BBQ place at the entrance to a neighborhood and at then end of industrial zoning. Don't let that scare you away, the area isn't bad and the surrounding wasn't what you'd expect either.
Anyway, it was a Saturday and I was surprised there was actual parking in the small lit behind the restaurant. Getting out of the vehicle the air smelled so delicious with that sweet smoke from the wood used to fire the meat.
Walking inside....that's where I saw a line of 20 people. The food is served in a line much like a Lubys and the food looked exceptional!
We stood in line for a few minutes but unfortunately we had another appointment to get to and had to leave. BUT, this place is high on the list of places I want to experience. We will be back! A+

The first time we ever tried Triple J's was at their rodeo booth. Every year since then we've gone back to their booth. The BBQ is perfection. The service is fast and friendly and the prices are competitive and legit good for the amount and quality of food you are given. My husband and I decided we needed to find their place so we made the trip out there today...the line was out the door...which tells you how good they are. But it took us maybe 10 minutes in line before we ordered and were given our food! While we were waiting in line, an employee approached us and greeted us while asking if it was our first time there. He joked with us and our boys and got us even more excited about the food. It didn't disappoint! Thanks Triple J's for an overall excellent experience. Keep up the good work! BTW...we ordered the Triple J baked potato with beef on top...the BEST!

I rate a restaurant on 3 fundamental points
Customer Service, The Food, and the price.
The service sucks, being that I stood on line for nearly an hour on Saturday afternoon. It was my first visit. I tried calling the restaurant to place my order to go while on line, but was told they don't take phone orders. I ordered the 3 meat plate ribs, brisket and sausage with beans and potato salad. It was about $20 dollars which I found reasonable. The food was not exceptional in fact it was below average. When I consider the amount of time I stood there waiting to be served I feel ripped off.
If the meats wasn't bad enough the sides were disgraceful. The beans were obviously canned and I don't know what that was they gave me but they call it potato salad..
See Photo. It was
a watery, gooey disgusting mess and went straight into the trash. I have had better bbq in a TV dinner. So, I won't be back here...y'all can keep this mess for those that don't know better.

Oh my goodness! The bbq here is a amazing. There is a bit of a line, but it goes by fast and is worth the quick wait. This place was the highlight of my trip to Houston and everything from the brisket, peach cobbler and the ice tea was amazing. You’ll be doing yourself a disservice if you don’t go.
