Just finished eating here for the first time and already looking forward to the next time. The conchas are so pillowy soft, the whole family enjoyed them and kept commenting on how delicious everything was. My son, the pickiest eater I’ve ever known, loved the concha and pink cake. Excellent customer service too. Beautiful historic building and great repurposing of the space. The seating area is more of a cafe-type space, and since we’re a big family, we had to take it to go because there are only a few small tables. Still looking forward to going back. Definitely not a deal breaker at all. Those conchas!

The care put into all their product offerings is evident. Not only do they look scrumptious, they taste is heavenly. The conchas are amazing! Definitely worth the drive.

First time here. We absolutely loved this place. Cris and Claudio are not only extremely nice but bake delicious pan dulce. The chocoflan and marranitos leave you begging for seconds. We will definitely be back for more! ????

We absolutely love the pan dulce here. In our most recent visit we ordered a stuffed pastry and it was magical. Now it is ideal to go by early because when we went at 1pm the selection was minimal. GOOD FOR THEM!!
The people are always so happy and friendly. This is definitely a great reason to come back.

The mexican pastries and cakes are delicious with just the right balance of sweetness. I absolutely loved the Pay de Queso! It kind of reminded me of Germany Cheesecake. Light and fluffy but not overly sweet. Just perfect! Totally worth checking out and talking with the Chef and owner. She is adorable and bright!

Love, love, love this place. I heard about it through a friend and when I saw other people's photos on the Google reviews I decided to make the 30 minute trip across town and I was MORE than happy I did. My daughter adored these cookies and demolished her pan dulce in minutes!!! It never made it outta the car. The service was amazing! We were greeted so delightfully and they even went as far to give my daughter the display pan dulce so she could have the last tie dyed one. So sweet of them to be so considerate. My husband keeps asking for me to take him now after we raved about it so much, we will be back for sure!

The most delicious pan dulce and other yummy treats I've had. Super friendly service. If you work or live on Fort Sam and use the N. Braunfels gate, this is a must stop! My co-workers loved the treats. We will visit again very soon. Thank you!

This is a family owned bakery that you do not want to miss, the aroma of fresh bread as soon as you walk through the door, wow. Alebrije owners and staff are warm and inviting and very talented at their craft this is a special place indeed. They have SUPER YUMMY unique sweet bread on holidays and special occasions, check out this Sweet Bread Floral Arrangement every sweetheart valentine would love!

Perfectly soft, sweet and not dry at all!
The service was great, I wish I got her name but she took the time to describe each pan dulce with patience.
Highly recommend!
