I had a 2 meat plate, brisket and pulled pork, Fried and mac&cheese but I got a dry meat look like white chicken and I asked the staff about the meat. He said it was pulled pork ????. Just disappointed.

First I want to say AMAZING customer service! BBQ has us full and ready to pop. Brisket, pork/beef ribs, chicken, and my personal favorite the spicy sausage. I was completely caught off guard. Great smokey flavor with the perfect amount of heat. Would recommend 10/10.

Super delicious!!! The BBQ sauce came on the side- which I love cuz then you can add what you want, and it wasn't too vinegar-y or ketchup-y or too thick. It was legit perfect and the chopped brisket sandwich was so tender. The staff was super friendly and quick as well.

Awesome brisket sandwich! Came here on a recommendation and got here right before close, but the friendly staff still made sure we a full menu to choose from - and let us come back well after close for ice cream. The kids really enjoyed seeing the kittens by our outdoor table, too. We'll be back!

Amazing food, reasonable prices, very disappointed with the service. I was made to feel like a burden by ordering food here, which makes me not want to come back.
I came in at 15 minutes to closing and there was nobody around to take my order. After standing and waiting for a few minutes I asked an employee who was cleaning up if I was able to place and order. With a grudging sigh they agreed and asked what I would like. I was ordering for my family and needed a fairly large order.. she responded with a surprised irritation at the size of the order. I didn't want to be a burden and offered to go elsewhere to eat, but she said no she needs to check with the cooks. After yelling upstairs and summoning the cooks, my order was underway. I had ordered kids meals, which are supposed to come with ice cream. When the food was ready and bagged I was handed the bags. I asked about ice cream and the cook looked at me blankly and says "to go oders don't come with ice cream". I asked why I paid extra for kids meals with ice cream if they don't come with ice cream. He grabbed bags of chips for me instead of ice cream.. I suppose that works. I would have preferred ice cream.

AMAZING Service! Authentic BBQ with awesome outdoor seating. Great for kids to play. Food wasn't anything special, just average. It's all about the atmosphere here. Plus it's walking distance from the Japanese Tea Gardens and the San Antonio Zoo.

This is the 2nd time enjoying their take out. As you pull up take the first entrance for pick up and 2nd for dine-in (coming from 281). The inside is clean and definitely that country style feeling. The cashier is awesome and attentive no matter when you go basically great customer service. The two people that interacted today were very cheerful and you can tell they all have a great relationship working together. That is needed in a restaurant especially with comfort food. The potato salad is incredible and you can taste all the ingredients. As for the cream corn it is not runny at all so the texture is there in every bite. The brisket is just beautiful, tasty ???? ????, and climactic. Yes, people it is that good. Much ❤ and hope yall enjoy this experience.

Casual. Friendly. Simple. Rustic. Good BBQ. Limited indoor seating but a very robust outdoor configuration on different levels. Good spot to refuel after leaving a long day at the nearby SA Zoo.

The meat is the best I have ever had. The marbled brisket melts in your mouth. The jalapeño sausage was delicious. I tried all the meats and sides and everything was #1. Would definitely recommend.
