Love this place! I have two under 5 so going out to eat and sit down somewhere can be a task and this place really makes it a breeze. Their booths are roomy and TALL, free refills on tea and water, plenty of high chairs with STRAPS and kid friendly options on the menu, you pay and order at the beginning too. Not to mention the brisket and sausage are amazing! Their cream corn and green beans were my favorite.

Super friendly and inviting service. Got the two meat plate with brisket, ribs, creamed corn, green beans, and an extra side of coleslaw. Everything was wonderful. Brisket was tender and the ribs were pretty meaty. Great flavor on both. Sides were fantastic. Also got a Texas Royale cookie for the way home. So good, but that might've been a mistake. So filling. Can't wait to go back.

We've been ordering from this restaurant for almost 3 years at least 2 or 3 times a year. We put in an order over the phone to be picked up on Father's day 3 days ahead of time and were assured the order would be ready for pick up by 2pm. When we arrived at the store at 2 pm, and checked in to receive our order we were told that they didn't have any cream corn ready, but there would be some ready in 10 minutes. At this point we hadn't gotten any part of our order, after 30 minutes we still hadn't gotten any part of our order. It took them almost an hour to prepare our order, and we had even asked the server if it matched the receipt, as we hadn't gotten a copy of it, we were then told that they had lost the receipt of an over 70 dollar order but they assured us the full order was accounted for. When we checked the order at home, we noticed that there was only one large container and 2 small ones, when we had ordered 2 quarts of cream corn, upon further inspection the large container was BBQ sauce and the two small containers were cream corn, barely a fourth of what we were supposed to have received. We also specifically asked that bread not be included in our order, and the loaf that we did receive had a hole in it.

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while just never had a chance. But tonight was the night and a couple of friends join me as well. On the south side of San Antonio it was a larger building that I thought it would be. Located directly on a main road, plenty of parking and the drive-thru has a lot of room for cars as well. Small waiting lobby once you go inside the door and then you get in line to head up to the cashier to take your order. Three cash registers were working last night to make things move fairly quickly. I chose the two meat plate with sausage and brisket, pinto beans and fries. My friends shared a sampler plate with turkey brisket sausage and chicken and a couple of sides. Good size dining area not as big as I thought it would be. People that always told me you wanted to beat the dinner crowd on a Saturday night and I'm certainly glad we did. By the time we were leaving the line was out the door. My brisket and sausage were very good each had a good taste to it good portion of meet. My friends also said the same thing about their sampler plate. Overall the two meat plate with two sides of drink and I bought three cookies for dessert came to $25 total. Definitely recommend this barbecue restaurant if you're living in San Antonio or if you're visiting it's an easy drive to the location. May give it another try in the future to try some other choices.

5 stars for being delicious !
Went in on a Sunday with a group of 9 around 1 and the line was almost to the door. I figured that must be a very good sign.
Didn't take long at all to seat us and the wait wasn't long either for the food.
Everything tasted really good. Only weakness was no refills for soda, it was an extra dollar for a small cup of soda.

Where have you been all my life? Listen when you walk in, don't let the line send you running. This is a fine oiled machine. That line moves as smooth as their creamed corn. Yum by the way. The green beans were incredible. I heard the potatoe salad was great "like homemade". I had the Friday special, brisket with bbq chicken and two sides. Dont compare the prices to the prices of the chain bbq places because the food does not compare either. The brisket just fell apart and you can pick the way you like it (juicy with crusty edges... Yes please). The chicken I picked was white meat, I will try the dark meat next time. The white meat, as juicy as white meat can be, needed the bbq sauce. Which believe me was NOT a punishment. You also get the traditional white bread, pickles and onions. No table service here but the counter help was friendly and fast! Bench style seating in the front room (from what I noticed) but standard table seating in a back room area. Great tea. My friend loved the lemonaid. FYI you can get a brisket taco...what? Didn't try it so I cant tell you about the tortilla ...Will I be back? I'd sleep there if they let me!

Super delicious local Smokehouse. Imo the best bbq San Antonio has got to offer. The sausage is the star for me, so juicy and full of flavor. The brisket is also so tender, melting on your tongue! I'd come back if I'm ever in town. Food goes quickly. We got there at 6:30pm for dinner and the pork ribs are gone!

The best BBQ spot in South San Antonio. If you have been coming here since before it’s remodel you will know how far they have come. Their specialty in Texas Barbecue has always been a staple in the south side. They have just improved their building. If you want good food and even better customer service look no further. B&B Smoke House is where you will find it all.

super fast service! only complaint was the fried pickles being too thin with too much batter. there was a decent amount of vegetarian sides for a bbq place.

Our first but definitely not the last time here. Everything was incredible and I am very particular about my portions and my flavor when it comes to BBQ. This place exceeded ALL my expectations. The portions were a good “manly” size. The flavor was perfect. I tried a little bit of everything and not one item was mediocre. Every item was perfect. Definitely a must try. Worth the drive to us and we will be back. Great, clean atmosphere and family friendly. ????
