I was a Chicagoan looking for a delicious barbecue spot and my brother in law brought us here. I must say, Delicious! The brisket was delicious, the chicken was juicy and the spicy bbq sauce was savory! For desert the banana putting is undefeated! A must try!

Want to walk into an atmosphere perfect for BBQ? Weather you want to dine inside or outside. This is the perfect spot to do so. Comfortably located on the city’s Southside of town. Prepare yourself for some of the best hospitality and friendly staff around. I stopped by late Saturday night to see the Reunion Band play. Got me some great tasting brisket and homemade potato salad. Mmmmmmmmm. Mmmmmmmm. What a blast it was to be so close to home and have some of the best bbq I have ever tasted.

The food here was amazing! We had the nacho plate with brisket. We also tried the custard with banana, chocolate cake and cream cheese cake. Absolutely loved it and definitely returning again to try everything on the menu.

We stopped by while out on a motorcycle ride and boy did this place deliver. I had the sliced brisket and smoked sausage. Brisket was moist, tender, and seasoned just right. Sausage was juicy and perfectly seasoned. Mac and cheese was creamy and delicious. Brisket beans were spot on as well. Wife had a brisket stuffed potato with all sorts of toppings that had a great Mexican flair. Restaurant was clean, staff was friendly and service was quick. We’ll definitely be back!

Hands down the best bbq in San Antonio. Our family drives from the far north side because we love this place so much. The owners and workers are awesome. We always get the Not Your Mama's Nachos. The brisket is amazing, and their sides and deserts are excellent as well. Worth the drive even if you live on the other side of town.

Smoked’ hot place to stop! Brisket was tender & juicy. The 3 meat plate was plentiful! I had the tacos which were not your average but just plain, not enough pickles but I guess I was expecting more but the sweet potato casserole was a must! Prices are reasonable, especially when everything seems to be going up in prices.
Environment was clean and the tables were spaced out to feel comfortable. Decor was more than enough to keep you entertained if you didn’t want to watch the giant tv. Staff at the register were friendly. Oh! Order the banana pudding, it will not disappoint!!!!

We had doubts when we just arrived the parking lot, but we decided to give it a try. We choose the site outside and while I was wiped the table, one staff came out with a sanitized towel.That was nice. The food was awesome and very good price with huge portions. We got smoke chicken, briskets and the sausage. Kids and I liked the sausage and husband liked all. All the meats has their own flavor not all of them taste like BBQ seasoning.
Highly recommend this restaurant.

Wanted some good BBQ so came to try out this spot and I was very impressed. Brisket and Turkey was tasty and moist. The sides cream corn and brisket beans were very good as well. The D bombs (bacon wrapped jalapeño bombers with brisket) are a must try. The employees were very attentive and friendly. I will definitely be going back.

Tried the 3 meat plate, chicken was nicely smoked, tasty sausage, brisket was on the dry side but had a tasty bark which leads me to believe it could’ve just been a bad cut. Cream corn was cold but had good flavor, nice creamy potato salad. Washed down with a cold koolaide. Service was friendly. I will try it again in hopes for better brisket like everyone rants about. Cheers.

First off -outstanding service. The quality of the people who both own and work here is unmatched. At first we were thinking we were going to sit outside and we started to wipe off the stools when a sweet woman came outside and offered to wipe everything off for us. She ended up being the owner! Happened to chit-chat with the staff afterwards and everyone was just as friendly and genuine.
Now the food- best, by far the BEST brisket around. No doubt. We got the 6 person meal filled with brisket, chicken, turkey. Our sides included a hearty, delicious mac and cheese, wonderful green beans, and sweet potato casserole good enough to be served at your next Thanksgiving meal. Towards the end of our meal one of the staff walked around with trays of FRESH banana pudding. There was no way we could pass those up so we snatched a few right there. We recommend it all, but because we enjoyed everything so much we’re ready to try everything else! We found this glorious, family friendly, group friendly, casual spot on our way to Corpus. Thankfully we don’t live too far so we will be back with an appetite and friends!
