Great burgers where you pick your toppings and excellent tots. Made fresh when you order so this is not fast food, but it's so worth it. Clean, laid back venue with great service. And no worries - they take cards.

Nice little gem.
Place was great, get in line order food.. give them your name and the food will be served as ordered.
The orders go in the place they are ordered which was great. The food is made to order.
We did wait in the line for maybe 5-10 mins it was very busy.
Waited on food for another 20- 25 minutes, but the food was well worth the wait.

Family owned
Will definitely visit again soon.
** pricing is a little high but inflation has done that as of right now , there is also a sign at the door that says prices have increased :)

This is absolutely our favorite burger place to eat at. The burgers (all of them) are always made fresh to order and so full of flavor. It’s hard to say I have a favorite here however the Burnell Melt is usually my top pick. That was until the other day when I tried the new Blazin Texan! Sorry, was too hungry that day to take pics and write a review so that’s what brings us back today. Bacon, pepper Jack cheese, grilled jalapeños, grilled mushrooms and grilled onions along with lettuce, tomatoes & pickles on a homemade jalapeño cheddar bun! Absolute perfection and deliciousness!! The tater tots here are always the best too!!

I will try it again because the burgers looked great but I called in a fish sandwich and small fried mushroom order. Was told 10-15 min. Got there 20 min later and had to wait 10 more. They had 3 tables of customers so not very busy. The fish tasted like frozen fish sticks, the tarter sauce was just mayo, the bun was amazing, and the mushrooms were still frozen inside. Nice staff. Great sweet tea.

Good Burgers and Fries PLUS the perfect view overlooking Cows = Perfection
We were recommended to come here by neighbors and had a free moment to stop by and they did not disappoint. The burgers are mostly Build Your Own but they do have some specialty burgers if you just can’t make decision - but you can’t go wrong either way! Their fries are pretty good too but have an assortment of sides you can choose from including tater tots and spicy fried pickles if you want to spice up yo life!
But the best part personally was the great view overlooking the cows - but I love cows so maybe it’s just me. Other people may think “ … just another cow” or “ oh darn I forgot to check on the cows before we left”????
Overall, Solid Burgers and friendly staff that I would recommend if you are in the area or passing through. And take a moment to look at the pretty cows while you’re there????

The food wasn't bad. I ordered the Blazin Texan burger. My only real complaint about this burger was the Jalepeno bun. The bun didn't hold up well.it absorbed the juice from the burger and became a mushy mess. It would have been better on a regular bun. The overall flavor was good though. I would love to have some spice with this one. I had some of my wife's chili cheese fries. They looked great coming out. The flavor of the chili tasted much like a can of ranch beans. Not quite what I expected. They weren't bad, just not a flavor you would expect from chili cheese fries. My father-in-law had the Hot Bologna Mess and onion rings. The rings were good; he liked the sandwich but, had the same issue I had with my bun (same type of bun). Overall, it's a little pricey and OK if you're already in the area.

Nice burger joint. They have a variety of food, from burgs to salads, to patty melts. If youre near by or want to try a place of the beaten path, but yet in San Antonio come here.
I had the patty melt and sweet potato fries. The patty melt was well seasoned and tasty. Normally, patty melts are just greasy and tasteless, but this was one of the best patty melts I've had. Sweet pot fries were very well done, perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They inside seating with tv's and a couple benches ouside, which has a decent view, but the proximity to the speeding traffic is a bit jarring. But, that can be easily overlooked by the tasty food and happy smiling service. They have canned beer too! Come check this place out. You won't be disappointed. I really enjoyed it.

I was expecting more unique and gourmet burgers, but the build-your-own burger experience with fairly basic ingredients was good too. The staff were absolutely great. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here but if you find yourself in the vicinity, by all means you'll enjoy it.

This place is now called Barbed Wire Co. This was our first time here.
Over all everything was good. The fries and Onion rings were yummy. The owner was nice. She gave us tater tots and sweet potatoes fries on the house to try. They were also delicious. We will be going back.

We visited last Saturday while in town to attend a sporting event with my child, picked this place based on ratings/reviews and the Google community did not disappoint. The service was friendly and kind, the food was fresh and delicious. The decor and vibe is very inviting and comfortable. Zero complaints from me. I love good soda and Stubborn Soda is one of my favorites! We'll be back soon, many thanks!!
