Pretty chill spot and good burgers. Locally owned so it's cool supporting them. Burgers are better than whataburger. Nice, greasy and tasty. I had the chili cheeseburger and it was good.

My cheeseburger was absolutely legit today. Hit that craving for a cheeseburger with fried onions, pickles, crispy bacon and gooey-melted cheese perfectly. Perfect hole-in-the-wall Mom & Pop joint with the best kind of local, military friendly, atmosphere. Going to be a staple on our future trips back to San Antonio.

Burgers were delicious, chili cheese fries were sooooo good, I ordered the Berry's special which comes with grilled onions grilled jalapenos and I added Chili, it tasted sooo good. I spent a little over $30 and we are good, definitely money well spent. I would definitely recommend Brenda's Burgers, they have been around for 33 years for a reason.

I was just passing by and had to make a U-turn to go to this place because I had never seen it before even though I go down that road a lot. The service was great even though there's limited drive-thru area so the wait time was a little high. They're peanut butter shake it's one of the best I've ever had. Burger and fries were great! I'll definitely stop by there again.

Stopped by for lunch today. I ordered a large burger with cheese and bacon, fries and a soda. My burger was juicy and flavorful with a good meat-to-bun ratio. The fries were crispy fresh from the fryer. My soda refill cost 50¢ extra, which was a surprise.

I came to Brenda's Burgers for the onion rings. They did not disappoint. My husband ordered a double meat burger and he said it was good. I ordered a grilled cheese and honestly it was horrible. It was in hamburher buns with 1 slice of cheese. I don't recommend the grilled cheese at all. The srawberry shake is good!!!!

First time here and now I know why there are rarely any empty parking spots and the drive-thru is always full. The burgers here are delicious and full of flavor. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The wait for food isn’t too bad, but it was pretty crowded when we were here at noon.

4/2/2022. First came to Brenda's WELL BEFORE covid. Place was clean. Brenda was still running the show. Place was clean and music was good.
Now after covid we decided to come in for burger and tenders. Seems the daughters and granddaughters are working the business. What a difference! Seems like the young lady at the cash register was very impatient and would not make eye contact. While this was our second time we don't know the rhythm of the place. Everything is al a carte here. No combo meals. Luckily I had asked for fries with my tenders. Speaking of tenders, the order only comes with two small pieces on a bed of fries. While the food was good it was a bit on the salty side.
The ambiance is the same but the music was blaring!
I did see that they had a score of 100 from the Health Department. But I did not see any hair nets on the cooks. Not sure what the rules are.
This place does have a following because Brenda nurtured relationships with regular clients. The price is also a factor when it comes to repeat business. I hope the new management can somehow continue those relationships.
I gave three stars because of the treatment at the cash register and the small portions with the tenders. Still on the fence about our return.

Had seen this place near my parents house while visiting them last week. The parking lot was full and the line for the drive thru was kind of long. Well I had gone to visit my parents again over the labor day weekend and decided to give it a try Why not. I ordered a single patty burger, onion rings and some chilli cheese fries. It all cost $14 and change. I have to say the meal was very good. The onion rings and the chilli cheese fries were awesome. Kind of old fashioned to be honest. Next time I'll get the large onion rings and maybe a peanut ???? butter shake. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in the area.
