Great customer service! They literally came to the door to walk us in as we parked! Pizza could use some flavor. They are heavy on dried Italian seasoning and canned vegetables. Pepperoni tastes very cheap because it doesn't have much flavor. The salad was very basic; lettuce, onion, tomato with olive oil and dried Italian seasoning for dressing.

Still one of the best pizzas in town. Very New York. It will remind you of those long skinny Pizza houses in New York that sold the oversized slices. Great lunch special two pieces of pizza and a soda for like 5 or 6 bucks. Make sure to try the hard salami sandwich it's one of their specialties don't share it. No really.

I grew up in New York and lived in the tristate area for 20 something years. This pizza is as close as I've gotten in Texas to enjoying something that tasted like it came from home. I'm not sure if it's fantastic or just nostalgia, but I love it. Dining in, taking out, always a good experience.

Food is amazing! I'm picky when it comes to pizza but this place took the crown for my NEW favorite pizza restaurant!

Pizza is good but not worth the racist vibe you get when you walk in. Old man at the register leaves you standing there openly acknowledging that he is ignoring you. His brother comes over prepares the pies and abruptly snatched them away “leave them here! Pay my brother there.” His brother was 3 feet away. No have a nice day no customer service. They should really work on the perception they give. White guy behind me was treated much nicer. Lesson: don’t be brown or don’t order from them.

This is a long-standing family business. Everything here is authentic Italian from the northeast. The flavors are spot on and the ingredients are spot on. The best Italian cold sub in town and great service. The pizza is exactly what you would get in any New York or New Jersey pizza shop.

Florio's has the best "REAL" pizza in San Antonio. I use the word REAL pizza because I am originally from Newark NJ. and I understand what pizza should be. Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Cesar's, and so on and so on, IS NOT PIZZA! I don't know what you would refer to it as, but the stuff these places sell is something other than pizza. New York and New Jersey have real pizza shops and I have tried hundreds of them. Florio's pizza is REAL New York and Jersey style pizza. It tastes great, its hand made from scratch, and its even less expensive than the other garbage that the other places sell. Oh yeah, they also have great calzones, subs, salads and more. Go check them out and you will see for yourself what I mean when I call them the best in San Antonio.

I Love this pizzeria! My family and I have been coming here for over 20 years. I never knew NY style pizza until I met my husband in 2013, a true New Yorker from NYC not Jersey. I still insist this is the best pizza I’ve had in San Antonio. Sorry NYers if you don’t think this is NY style pizza, this place has never let me down with consistency in both flavor and customer service.

It’s clear this place has been around for a while and it’s character shows in the atmosphere. This place is the place for New York style pizza. I was told the original worker here was a true New Yorker and gave the place a unique-not-so-subtle experience with her presence.
Overall the pizza was the flat long pieced pizza and there wasn’t any frills with it. The pizza itself was decent, but after adding cheese and pepper it made the experience better.
