The sweet bread was really soft & delicious i bought $20 worth of sweet bread unfortunately when we got there it was almost empty. I'll definitely will be going back again ,next time I'll go earlier.

So, if you've never experienced the expertly baked goods here, you've missed the pinnacle of Pan Mexicano. The empanadas are so good. The conchas, or pan de huevo, are the best in town. And, if you get them hot and freshly baked, all the better. Don't be afraid to venture out of your routine neighborhood habits. Esmeralda's Pan Dulce will keep you coming back.

They've been here for a good while and make some the best baked good in the south side. I'm sure they'll be here for longer seeing how good the bread is.

Hands down my favorite Mexican pastry bakery. Señor George & Señora Mona are amazing, dedicated, and hard working. They take pride in keeping their recipes Mexican authentic.
Cakes are worth the price.
