I cannot fathom my sheer disappointment during my last two visits to this Saltgrass. My family has been a Landry's club member for over 15 years now, so Saltgrass was always our go to choice for a nice steak dinner. However, the last two times we've gone have been unacceptable. If I had to guess, they're reducing overall quality in order to avoid massively raising the prices of their steaks. However, our family never went to Saltgrass for the steaks alone, but for the entire overall experience. Two very notable downgrades have been with the bread and soup. The bread is either a completely different recipe now or has more flour compared to the other ingredients than it used to. The soups were also cold and flavorless, nearing on inedible. I don't even know how the baked potato soup was cold considering that it's normally scalding hot, but both times it almost seemed chilled. The cooks on the steaks have also been incorrect both times we went. The first time the steak was actually raw so I had them correct it, and the second it was just at the very bottom of rare instead of medium rare so I still ate it. However, a medium rare steak should not have a dark red, almost blue center so the cook was still incorrect even though I was willing to eat it. All in all, we will be finding a new steakhouse to eat at in the future and are incredibly disappointed in losing one of our favorite restaurants.

We all thought our food was good and the service was great. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. He always went the extra mile and checked on us often. We ordered a burger, steaks, and shrimp. We also had the loaded potato soup, fries and smoked macaroni & cheese. Fries were good but the soup and Mac & cheese were amazing. Yum! The steaks were cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The restaurant was clean and decorated in a very fun way. The only reason for 4 stars is that it was a little more pricey.

The Range Rattlers( jalapeños with shrimp and cheese inside ), fried were supper. My compliments to the shef. I also had 8oz top sirloin steak and fried shrimp . The steak was medium done, mmmm. A cocktail, apple martini made my dinner complete. Shef and bartender Rocked, they out did them self. I will defenetly come back and recommend it. Our server, Callum was presenable(clean , groomed and super friendly). We encounter a minor set back ,but nothing , Scott the manager could not handle. To top it off, desert was a cheese cake , it was light on sugar and fluffy not heavy . Love this place , highly recommended.❤️❤️❤️❤️

Ambiance- warm, inviting and relaxing
Location- Freeway near Cornerstone Church
Food- outstanding wedge salad for starter along with a great house salad with homemade thousand island. The house bread is served warm with real butter. They offer a variety of steaks including the hamburger chop steak which is top notch serve with onions and gravy, the ribeye is absolutely fantastic cooked order. I highly recommend the baked sweet potato as it is baked fresh and not microwaved.
Service- The service was top-notch for the entire visit. The wait staff is very attentive and providing refills along with fulfilling any special request do you have for your meal
Suggestions- ask for a table in the back for a quieter dining experience

Nothing less than perfect for a lunch outing. Our server, Rebekah, was attentive to drinks, gave awesome recommendations, and was professionally engaging. The food was all fantastic. Had the porterhouse, smoked Mac, potato soup, and fried mushrooms.

The food and drinks were good, but we made a reservation for 330 and had to wait for our table to se seated. I understand staff shortage, but that's the reason for the reservation.

First Time - Huge Disappointment
We usually go to the Longhorn Steakhouse for our steak dinners, but thought we would give the SaltGrass a try. What a disappointment.
1) Food was promised to be ready by 4:45pm and was 25 to 30 minutes late.
2) All the steaks were cooked incorrectly and by the time we got home (5 minutes from the restaurant) everything was extremely cold. Picture of the steak in this review should have been medium well. Not well done.
3) The sliders appeared to have been cooked earlier in the day and were just microwaved. Cheese wasn't even melted.
4) Sides were all incredibly cold with the fries tasting hours old.
We tried it, and will be going back to the Longhorn Steakhouse.

Great salad, awful steak. Overcooked, dry, cheap. Made me angry since you have to search pretty hard fir a bad steak in Texas. This is a ghetto steak chain. Gunky mashed taters. What Was I thinking! Went to Count Line and had Barbcue beef sandwiches. Saved. Don’t try to save money on an inferior steak!

Had a 17 oz. T bone steak medium rare and everything came out perfect!! I hadn't been able to have a rare steak in a year and it was totally on point and worth every penny! The service was also great wish I could remember our waiters name..
