All in say is WOW!!! We loved everything we ordered and savored every bit. The bread is the freshest I've ever had. You will not be disappointed. ????

I love the Bread Box! It’s the tastiest lunch spot, the most gorgeous AND delicious cakes, one of my favorite spots in town. Plus, it’s an adorable spot to sit and enjoy your meal.

Nestled within the warren of shops that make The Alley you’ll discover a lovely, cozy spot for breakfast or lunch. The delicious aroma of pastries will greet you when you enter and you’ll be hard-pressed to ignore the cakes, pies, tarts and cookies on the shelves behind the counter. Counter service is friendly and welcoming. Your order will be brought to your table and you can enjoy a lovely meal in the cheery dining room. Looking forward to the next visit.

Super cute and inviting. The coffee was great and the food was really good too! Good spot to go with friends or on a date.

Went to the launch of the HER ministry tea party at the Bread Box and had a wonderful time. Beautiful atmosphere and enjoyed the food( cucumber sandwiches, quiche, fruits, muffins, chicken salad sandwiches and tea).

Tried bread box for the first time and i was a little confused. The staff was pleasant but we had to order at a little kiosk before being sat, pastries were also sold prepackaged and put on a shelf that you choose from which i thought was odd. To put it politely this is a “white people place.” The entire inside looks like a dollhouse and the customers are oddly strange and don’t seem to take well to strangers. We also got served in to go cups while other customers were served in their usual mugs. Definitely not as inviting as a place as i thought.

We did high tea, it was ok. They only had 3 teas to choose from. The bread was a little hard. And we didn't get the assortment of fruit, just grapes. The place is super cute, though. The cakes look beautiful.

The Bread Box was wonderful to work with! Their manager Kaylan was professional and on top of things, she made me feel very confident about choosing them for my wedding. There were two other bakeries I considered (Bakery Lorraine and Bird Bakery), because their products are amazing. But to be honest, they were a bit flaky (pun intended) when it came to communication and although I’ll still patronize their bakeries, I didn’t trust them with my wedding cake.
But back to The Bread Box, when the cake arrived it looked Exactly like the picture I sent them. They also made a groom’s cake, researching the design to make an amazing cake. As a former professional baker finding a great tasting cake was important to me. The Bread Box makes a great tasting cake, but their frosting is also perfectly balanced. And it should be noted that despite having a dessert table, we did not have a lot of leftover cake.
The price was Ridiculously low considering the quality of the product. Both cakes included 50 servings and they were each $200.

Went for their tea service and had a lovely time with my family. Fun atmosphere and good food. Took the rye bread loaf home and was delicious.

I absolutely loved this place for brunch. Needed a mental health from COVID day out. I am so glad they were finally open for dining. Sitting outside was very peaceful and pleasant. I had the scrambled egg, bacon on English muffin. And latte. Yummy. Pleasantly surprised that there were boutique shops there as well. Made for a pleasant morning. I think it’s called the attic alley or the alley near the San Antonio international airport. Worth the time to dine and spend a quiet dayExploring the boutique shops. Loved it loved it loved it!
