My wife needed a 'sugar free' cake for her BD. Called The Cake Shop and the nice staff fixed me up. The cake was both beautiful and deliciously sugar free. Very happy.

If I could give this shop more stars on this review, I would probably give them 10! I decided to purchase a Pickle Rick (From the show 'Rick and Morty') designed cake from this shop, and the entire party couldn't have been more impressed with how it turned out, especially since they designed the outside with buttercream instead of fondant. Not only was the design VERY spot on, but the cake was delicious; the strawberry cake w/ whipped cream filling was amazing. Considering the time frame I made the order in, I was pretty shocked when they told me they could make the cake and have it ready the morning of the event. I am definitely coming back to this shop in the future for any party/event I'm needing a great cake for!

My wife and I met this company at a wedding expo and they were our one, and only company we tasted. We were hooked from day one. They were super professional and did a great job during our actual taste testing/consultation. They went through every step to make sure our cake was EXACTLY how we wanted it. They were professional and they kept in contact with us all the way through delivery. The cake turned out way better than we thought and it was delicious. When my wife and I tasted the cake in the shop we loved it so much we bought two slices to take home that night! I was very impressed with this company for professionalism, cake design, and quality/taste of the cake. I absolutely recommend them! You will not be disappointed!!!

Cake taste good. I would recommend that pictures are sent via text to customers to clarify the orders are correct before pickup. Thank you for resolving the issue.

They made it exactly how I wanted it. This cake was so tasty. DELICIOUS!!
The service here was great. They got back to me within a couple hours after I called, on a Sunday too. I was able to text them, they replied quick. Which made placing my order easy and efficient.
I will ONLY order from this cake shop, no other cake place beats this place!

We ordered a cake less than a week ago to be picked up today for an important baby shower. I had no idea what I wanted but had a picture. When we picked this up, I couldn’t believe how beautiful this looked. I figured there was no way it would taste that great. Everyone in the room at the party literally and simultaneously mmmmmmm’d after their first bites of this cake. Everyone wanted to know where I got it. This was THE best tasting cake I’ve ever had and I’ve had some really good cake in some amazing places! People post these too much when there’s a bad experience so wanted to make sure and post how amazing our experience was.

I was ordering a special custom-made cake for a friends birthday. I realize the size was mentioned when I spoke to the establishment but I assumed from looking at all the pictures online that it would be something fancy for $60. I ended up with a cake that looked average something I could make myself. Or some thing I could buy at H-E-B for under 20 bucks. So it was not worth it for me at all. Very overpriced. I expected a little more pizazz. Which I requested. Other than that it did taste delicious but I’ve taste better.

I enjoyed working with the Cake Shop! They were super responsive via text and had my cake ready when needed. I had a sweet simple cake, I added the flowers myself (just bc I already had them) although they offered. I did strawberry with raspberry filling and it was GREAT. All my guest loved the combo of flavors! I wanted hot pink in the inside( I believe they added extra dye to go pinker!) 6 inch round cake feed 10. Only 6 of us thin pieces was perf! Buttercream icing, gold paint. Just cute ♡ Totally ordering all future cakes with them! I was super happy!

Amazing groomscake that was custom made with my tweaked ideas. Tasted great. Heard no issues upon delivery. Buy their small pieces (and let it thaw) for best taste replica.

Terrible experience!!! We were sold an old cake with shriveled strawberries all over it. The jelly inside was brown and the cake tasted stale and dry! It was truly disgusting. I called the next day to complain and the lady said she didn’t know how that could be possible because their cakes are all fresh. She later called me back to tell me they sold me a cake that was supposed to be thrown away and was over a week old. She offered to credit my card or make me a new cake. We were so turned off, we asked for money back. My husband had to go to another bakery to get me a birthday cake a few days later. We asked for the owner to call us and they never did. H-E-B can make you a much better tasting and fresh cake at half the cost. Would not recommend going here for a special occasion.
