Place was clean and cool.. food was tasty but brisket and chicken where on the dryer side and for $15 a plate !!!????.... haven’t been here in over 2 years but is not like I remember it been juicy and soft .. if the place has new owners well they might not be cut out for the food industry

I have not had a bad meal in a long, long time. My hubby and I had picked up bbq plates and chopped bbq sandwich. Unfortunately, it was not good. The potato salad looked like mashed potatoes, cream corn was too thick, and brisket was greasy. I've had family members recommend but my experience was not good. The employees were nice.

AMAZING SERVICE!
We are house shopping in the area and drove by the restaurant. We saw the sign saying 4 chopped burgers for $5!!!!! What a deal!
They are so nice to us, welcomed us, great energy! Mr.Larry was great. 10/10 recommend.

the prices are high and the portions are small. the rating is low simply because of the value for money and long wait time. the sausage was good, the brisket was very dry, and nothing else stood out/ worth mentioning. it was our first and last time visiting. wouldn't recommend.

Super friendly. Chef (cook) stays talking to you while your meals are made. Our first time here and will definitely be going back. I been craving brisket nachos for years now since seeing a pic of my kids with them from gorilla ice and everytime I went they were out. Finally got them from this place and not disappointed. I feel like a pregnant woman finally getting what I want. So damn good. Thanks guys!
Edit: do not recommend chopped bun, the soggy rice or mashed potato salad

Ordered Uber eats as this bbq place was featured on my suggestions. Loving bbq I decided to try it. Overall I wasn’t very impressed. Brisket was extremely dry and looked reheated. I wasn’t expecting big portions but rather some good local smoked bbq. Sausage was nice and tasty. Cream corn was unfortunately thick and a jelly like texture however potato salad was good. Was disappointed to not receive any bbq sauce at all, What bbq place doesn’t provide at least a small portion of bbq sauce. Perhaps this place is rather enjoyed in person.

I've been eating at The Smokehouse for many years, even before it was The Smokehouse and it was Bob's Smokehouse.
The food here is really good, chop sandwiches can be a bit greasy however. Brisket here is so.e of the best Ive had, you can request it lean, marbled, or fatty.. Prices are fair in comparison to many other BBQ restaurants and portions are generous.
This restaurant is a popular location for people who work and live in the neighborhood where its located. The insides are very homey & country looking. What you might find in a small roadside diner in a small town.
Food quality has always been consistent and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new BBQ place to try. If you want some homestyle BBQ this is a good place to go..
