Man, burgers are as good today as they were 15 years ago. However, I do miss the Texas shaped meat patties.
My burger, steak fries and onion rings were delicious!
I recommend Uncle Barney’s!

this spot definitely needs to improve on their service or lack of. during my visit there was no fountain drinks available just tea. i love tea but i rather drink a sparkling soda with my burger. then had to walk next door to pay with a credit card and then wait in line again to show my receipt. who does that? maybe if girl taking order would smile i would of scored this place a 5 star. Busboy was the only pleasant person we saw. told us to have a good day as we left. finally a friendly smiling person. the food was not consistent. my Burger was too salty yet another person in our table said her burger needed salt. perhaps just personal preference. the burgers were big juicy and delicious. fries tasted fresh and good size.

Great burger....flavors on point very huge burger I got the double meat double cheese bacon burger...let me say ur guna need two hands and a bib very delicious dripping with flavor the fries where nice and crispy ...will be coming back

All I got to say is the BLT on Texas toast is an absolute must. If you love bacon and I mean lots of it, then Uncle Barney's BLT is now on your bucket list. I'm telling you, don't hesitate before you know it you'll be an old geezer like me with no teeth. Go there now.

Let me begin with the food, its ok but not worth the cost. I'm not sure why this place is separated from The Hungry Farmer, you need to go in there for restrooms, and if you want to pay with card. Soda refills are $.25 which doesn't break the bank, but is useful to know if you're like me and don't carry cash. There is very little floorspace and gets very cramped and nearly claustrophobic at times. I avoid this place when possible.

The burgers are so juicy and mouthwatering!! The food is spectacular and cooked to perfection!! Rinse it all down with some nice sweet southern tea! This place is absolutely amazing and we will be going back again!!

OMG! Best burgers I've had so far in San Antonio. They are 1/2 lb and very filling... I love this restaurant and it's very clean.

Service is great, prices are average or on the high side. Steak was fried not grilled, not my favorite but my buddy likes fried. I like fire grilled but not a deal breaker. Options are good. Staff was so friendly I would gladly go back but this time I'll get the chicken fried steak.

While everything was fine, nothing here is going to impress. Presumably frozen and definitely flavorless hamburger patties are placed on standard buns. Everything costs extra including Coke refills. Tea refills are free but they only have sweet tea (and it's truly sweet). Don't spend money on the ranch because it's not good. And the wandering maze to pay with a credit card is bizarre.
